    Using a d20

    The 20-sided die is at the heart of many tabletop role-playing games. Each number from 1 to 20 has a 5% chance. A natural 20 is often a critical success and a natural 1 a critical failure.

    Advantage and disadvantage

    Set "Number of dice" to 2 to roll two d20s at once. With advantage, keep the higher die; with disadvantage, keep the lower one. Rolling with advantage raises your average from 10.5 to about 13.8.
